Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on a server of Hostinger International Ltd. located in Germany. When you open a page, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser type and operating system. This is required to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Analytics with Umami

For analytics we use Umami, open-source software we host ourselves on our own infrastructure (stats.elvision-studios.com). No cookies are set and no cross-device profiles are built. We record pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, device category and clicks on our contact buttons. The IP address is not stored. The data never leaves our infrastructure and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-preserving statistics under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google Analytics on the English site

On elvision-studios.com and on the English pages of its country sites (such as uk.elvision-studios.com) we additionally use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It runs in Google's consent mode with storage denied: no cookies and nothing else is stored on your device, and Google receives only cookieless signals about pages viewed, referrer, approximate region and device type, which it may transfer to the United States and evaluates in aggregate. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the English site is used, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can prevent it by blocking scripts from googletagmanager.com in your browser. Contact via WhatsApp, Instagram and email

If you write to us, it happens through WhatsApp (+49 1577 3840073), an Instagram direct message, email to contact@elvision-studios.com, or one of the forms on this website: the free profile audit, the leak check, the referral form and the job application forms on our jobs pages.

What you enter into a form is sent once to our team as a message in a private Telegram group. The website itself keeps no copy: it has no database. Telegram is operated by Telegram Messenger Inc. and processes the message under its own terms. Job applications go to a separate private Telegram group for recruiting, and we answer them on Telegram under the username you give. So that no application gets lost, we also store job applications in an internal recruiting tool that runs on our own server and that only our team can open. We delete an application there once the position is filled, and at the latest 12 months after it came in, unless we start working together. The referral form may contain the name of a third person; we only contact that person if you have told us she expects a message from us, otherwise we talk to you first.

In the job application forms you may add a link to your CV; we store it like your other answers and open it only to review your application. If you also tick the optional box for Artivate and we have no suitable position for you, we pass your application on to the recruiting agency Artivate (Artivate Administration LLC, 66 West Flagler Street, Suite 900, Miami, FL 33130, USA, artivate.de). Artivate may then invite you to a non-binding interview and look for a job for you, and processes your details under its own responsibility from then on. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Because Artivate is based in the USA, the transfer rests, unless Artivate is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, on your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR). The level of data protection in the USA may be lower; in particular, authorities may access the data. Without the box ticked we do not pass your application on. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; a message to us is enough.

WhatsApp and Instagram are operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. If you message us there, Meta processes that communication under its own terms, over which we have no influence. On our side there is only a link: no data is transmitted to Meta unless you click it. Afterwards we know your phone number or Instagram profile and the content of your messages. You can delete the chat or block us at any time.

We process your message in order to answer it and to assess a possible collaboration. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the communication once it is no longer needed for those purposes and no statutory retention duty applies.

Fonts and external content

All fonts are served from our own server. No Google Fonts are loaded, and apart from Google Analytics on the English site, no external advertising or tracking services are embedded. This website itself holds no database and no user accounts; job applications are kept in our internal recruiting tool as described above.

If your browser is set to a language this site is published in, and you are reading a different one, a line offers you that version. Your language setting is read in your browser only and never transmitted to us. Nothing is redirected automatically. If you dismiss the line, your browser remembers that for the current session.

Transfers to the United States

The controller is a US company, so personal data may be processed in the United States. Access by US authorities cannot be fully ruled out, and the level of data protection may differ from the European one. If you would rather avoid that, please do not contact us through the channels above.

Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@elvision-studios.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Germany the authority of your federal state.
